Survival training in the Maldives

The Survival School

Learn From the
Islands Themselves

Two days of intensive training with instructors born and raised in these atolls. Real skills. Generational knowledge. No shortcuts.

Our Philosophy

We don't teach survival from a manual.
We teach it from memory.

Our instructors are Maldivian-born islanders — fishermen, navigators, and foragers who grew up reading tides, building shelters from palm, and cooking catch over open flame. Every technique we teach was passed down through generations of atoll life. This isn't a course. It's a tradition you're invited into.

Born on These Islands

Every instructor was raised in the Maldivian atolls. They didn't learn survival from a textbook, they learned it from their fathers, who learned it from theirs.

Generational Knowledge

Techniques passed down through centuries of island life, fishing methods, weather reading, navigation, and foraging that no certification course can teach.

Certified & Experienced

Wilderness first aid certified, open-water trained, and thousands of hours guiding in extreme conditions. Authenticity backed by professional standards.

Discipline 02

Shelter Architecture

Your First Line of Defence

Build storm-resistant shelters using palm fronds, driftwood, and natural cordage. Learn the 'veshi' roofing technique used by Maldivian fishermen, layered palm leaves that shed monsoon rain while allowing airflow.

Discipline 06

Celestial Navigation

Read the Sky, Read the Sea

Navigate by stars, sun position, ocean swells, and cloud formations. Maldivian sailors have crossed open ocean for millennia without instruments, our instructors carry that knowledge in their blood.

From Our Instructors

"My grandfather taught me to read the reef before I could read a book. That's what we pass on here — not theory, but a way of seeing."
