FAQs
Straight answers. No fluff.
Do I need survival experience?
No. Our expeditions are designed for all fitness levels. The first two days are dedicated training with local experts who will teach you everything you need. That said, you should be physically active and mentally prepared for challenge.
Is this safe?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. Our team has decades of island experience, and we maintain emergency protocols, satellite communication, and medical supplies at all times. However, this is a real survival experience — not a simulation. You will face physical and mental challenges.
What's included in the $3,999 price?
Internal flight from Malé to Kaadedhdhoo, speedboat transfers, guesthouse accommodation and meals on local island, survival training, basic gear, inter-island transfers, and 1 night at a 5-star luxury overwater villa with breakfast and dinner.
What's NOT included?
International flights to/from Malé, personal gear and clothing, travel insurance (required), visa fees, and personal expenses.
How big are the groups?
Maximum 15 participants per expedition. We keep groups small intentionally — for safety, for experience quality, and because these islands are small.
How long is the expedition?
10 days. Day 1–2 is survival training, Day 3–8 is coral island isolation (the survival phase), and Day 9–10 is local island stay with a final night in a luxury resort.
What if I need to leave early?
Emergency extraction is always available. We maintain boat access and satellite communication. However, voluntary early departure is not encouraged and may not be refundable.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover emergency medical evacuation and adventure activities. We can recommend providers.
Can I bring my phone?
You can bring it, but there’s no charging on the survival island and limited signal. Most participants choose to disconnect — that’s part of the experience.
What's the weather like?
The Maldives is tropical year-round (28–32°C). Monsoon season (May–October) brings more rain and rougher seas. Dry season (November–April) has calmer conditions. Both offer incredible experiences.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a 30% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the expedition start date.
Can I book for a group?
Absolutely. We accommodate groups and can discuss custom arrangements. Contact us directly for group bookings.
