About Us
Built by Maldivians.
Run by Maldivians.
Survive Maldives is 100% locally owned and operated. We are not a resort. We are not a tour company. We are an expedition company built on decades of real Maldivian island knowledge.
Our guides grew up on these islands. They learned to fish before they learned to read. They know the tides, the currents, the reefs, and the trees — not from a manual, but from life.
We created Survive Maldives because we believe the real Maldives — the one beyond the resorts — deserves to be experienced. Raw. Unfiltered. As it actually is.
Our Approach
Local Expertise.
Real Experience.
Every technique we teach comes from generations of Maldivian island life. Our instructors don't read from manuals — they teach what they've lived.
We know which trees provide the best wood for fire. Which reef zones have the best fish at which tide. How to read the sky for weather. This isn't imported knowledge — it's inherited.
What We Stand For
No Staged Survival
Everything is real. The islands, the conditions, the pressure. Nothing is manufactured for entertainment.
Local Knowledge
Our team is Maldivian. We don't import guides. We are the guides.
Small Groups
Max 15 per expedition. You're not a tourist. You're a participant.
Real Transformation
We don't sell comfort. We build resilience, skill, and perspective.
