Expedition overview

Overview

10 Days. One Shift.
Six Days Off-Grid.

Dry season Maldives expedition with diving, spearfishing, and remote island survival in paradise with real challenges.

Aerial arrival
Day 1 — Arrival

The Drop

You land in Malé. A domestic flight south. Then a speedboat across open ocean. No resort. No welcome drink. Just the raw edge of civilization — and the wild beyond it.

Day 1–2 — Hoandedhdhoo Island

The Forge

Two days of intensive, hands-on survival training with local Maldivian experts. Learn techniques passed down through generations — skills that will keep you alive on the castaway island.

Survival training

Local Experts

Learn from Maldivians who've lived this their whole lives.

Firecraft

Master friction fire, bow drill, and tinder preparation in tropical conditions.

Shelter Building

Build storm-resistant shelters from palm fronds, driftwood, and natural cordage.

Water Sourcing

Find, filter, and purify water using coconut shells, sand, and solar distillation.

Fishing & Foraging

Hand-line fishing, reef gleaning, coconut harvesting, and edible plant identification.

Navigation

Read tides, stars, currents, and weather patterns to move between islands safely.

Survival Medicine

Treat coral cuts, heatstroke, dehydration, and marine stings with field improvisation.

Day 3–8 — Uninhabited Coral Island

Castaway Protocol

Six days on a remote, uninhabited island. No electricity. No running water. No safety net. Build shelter. Source food. Maintain fire. Survive — or learn why you can't.
